Celebrating National Legion week at Branch 251

September 21, 2025-September 27, 2025

National Legion Week: Celebrating Our Mission and Community

National Legion Week is a special time to reflect on the work our Branch does all year. We are proud to be the keepers of remembrance, honouring Veterans, supporting their families, and giving back to the community.

We host events and fundraisers throughout the year. One of our most important efforts is the Annual Poppy Campaign. It runs from the last Friday in October through Remembrance Day, November 11th. Last year, we raised $5,770. We donated $4,873 to charitable foundations approved by the Royal Canadian Legion. These donations supported youth programs, homeless Veterans programs, bursaries, and more.

Throughout the year, we also support the Mount Brydges Caring Cupboard and other local initiatives. These efforts are only possible thanks to the support of our members and community.

Our Branch offers hall rentals and hosts a wide range of activities. From social events to live music, bingo, and pool nights, there is something for everyone.

This National Legion Week, we invite you to get involved. Share our Branch with your friends and neighbors — especially those who are new to town. Find out how you can help support Veterans and the community.

Together, we make a difference. Thank you for being part of our Branch and mission.
